Global consumerism as invasive species. Focus on Chinese culture. Factory "798" is an art district in Beijing that has recently evolved into the third largest tourist attraction in the area. Many of the contemporary artists moved out because they could not work under the conditions, and could not afford to pay the increased rent. The trees in the seemingly desolated background has logos sprouting from them. The new Shanghai skyline. Like an invasive plant, it sucks up resources and consumes and manipulates the culture that was originally present.
For CFC, my professor seemed to like it, but the message isn't clear without trigger words. I should work on that. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
